Consecrated Statue: Rāgarāja (Aizen Myō-ō)

Passion - Transformation - Attraction - Wisdom - Magnetism - Spiritual Power

The Wisdom King of Passion in Japanese Esoteric Buddhist tradition (愛染明王 in Japanese, Aizen Myō-ō) transforms desire and worldly passion into forces that support awakening, known for:

1. Transformation of Desire: Invoked to redirect passion, attachment, and intense emotion into disciplined spiritual power and constructive action.
2. Attraction and Harmonisation: Associated with love, magnetism, reconciliation, influence, and the strengthening of romantic relationships, including a historical association with same-sex male love in Japan.
3. Wisdom Through Passion: Represents the insight that desire itself can be transformed rather than simply rejected, turning powerful emotions into clarity, devotion, and progress on the spiritual path.

Material: Brass
Size: 8cm

About Consecration
At the Sanctum, we work with the Divine Mother when consecrating Deities, and this allows us to work with them outside of a religious context. As such, there is no need to follow any religious practice (especially closed practices), though you're free to do so should you subscribe to them!
How to Display Consecrated Statues
Remember, consecration means that the Deities are present. Do treat these as sacred objects, and display them in a clean, dedicated place such as an altar or a cleared space on a table or shelf.
Is Consecration Permanent?
The Deities are not bound to the objects, but are instead present in the Sacred Space that the Mother has anchored on the objects. Therefore, it is up to Their discretion to stay or leave, though they generally will not leave as long as you treat them with respect, and refrain from actions that go against their moral code (in general, just being a good person and/or having the sincere aspiration to be a better person is sufficient).
Offerings
As Mother and the Deities transcend religion, there is no need to follow religious traditions when it comes to offerings, though you're free to do so should you subscribe to said religions. In general, you can't go wrong with fruits, with the added bonus that you can consume them after offering to reduce waste!
Deities would not want you to spent too much on offerings, and would rather that you donated to charity than spent it on flowers!
